We spent the night Thursday night at the Sprouts house. Nicholas went back to our apartment Friday to load the car and tie up loose ends. Then we showered and got ready. Saying goodbye was pretty hard. Bruiser wanted to ride in "Ne-Ne's Far," Tater asked me if I was going to cry, and Miss Wiggles was just too adorable. It was around 10:45AM by the time we hit the road. We stopped for lunch at Applebee's which took entirely too long!
We got stuck in mucho traffic in New York, and there was yucky rain. We arrived at our family friends' home (and gracious hosts for the evening) around 7:30pm in Middletown, DE. We went to dinner at a Chinese buffet with "Uncle" David Pody where he proceeded to regale Nicholas with stories of me as a short, bossy kid. After chatting briefly, we hit the hay!
