I was born in Georgia and moved to Texas when I was 6 months old. I spent the summers in Georgia so I consider myself a Texas girl that grew up with a Georgia accent. Now I have no accent.
I have been married to my husband, Nicholas, for thirteen years. We met at a 20s and 30s Bible Study, and it was almost love at first sight. Two days after we were married, we moved to Rhode Island, 2000 miles away from all our friends and family so Nicholas could pursue his Masters of Fine Arts at Rhode Island School of Design.
After he graduated, we moved back to Texas. We bought a house, had 4 kids, sold our house, bought a new house and are loving our life as parents. Faith, family, friends, and the Arts are important to us. We love to travel, and I love to blog about our life as it is.
This blog is primarily for me to document our life together and secondarily for our friends and family to enjoy my witticisms, awesome pictures, and interesting stories.
