G's 3rd Birthday

Last Saturday we helped G celebrate his 3rd Birthday! Big Bro is pretty shy when we first arrive at places. He just stands around and observes his surroundings.

Pinata time!

Daddy helped empty the pinata by dumping all the candy on top of the kids. The kids weren't phased...They just kept putting candy in their bags.

Lil' Bro's Baptism

Lil' Bro was baptized on September 21st at our church by Pastor Tom. Jeremy Dertien and Audrey Lindeman were his sponsors. The flowers in front of the baptismal font were in a vase that Nicholas made and was the same one we used for Big Bro's baptism. 

Lil' Bro wore the same baptismal gown Big Bro made by cousin Karen Harr. What a special heirloom to share!

We asked Miss M to be Lil' Bro's Baptismal Guardian. She lit the baptismal candle and said, "Let your light so shine before others that they may see your good works and glorify you name in heaven."

M's older brother was Big Bro's Guardian Angel. 

Austin Zoo

Saturday we went to the Austin Zoo. Big Bro has been BEGGING to go to the Austin Zoo for weeks. We finally had some time, and the weather semi-cooperated.

It started raining for a little while. We found an umbrella to protect us, and Big Bro fed some sheep and goats.
