Turman Time

Since arriving back in Austin, we have been spending a lot of time with the Turman's. We have tried to be supportive to all Turman children. We watched LJ do his drum major thing at Westlake High School football games. We watched him play the guitar at the All Region Jazz Band concert where he wore "loud" pants in the shade of orange.

Most recently, we attended the Nutcracker Spectacular at Westlake High School, where 50 of the high musicians were the orchestra. LJ played the french horn, as well as a trumpet solo. The "dancers" were from a local dance studio and were absolutely adorable! We have watch Kat play 8th grade volleyball and basketball with her roughly 36 inch long legs! She is #40 in the picture below.
We look forward to attending some of her club volleyball tournaments in the coming months.
I made it to one of Matthew's final baseball games of the Fall season. He is now playing basketball...and all the games are on my calendar. In the weeks leading up to Christmas vacation, he was busy preparing for his Choir Concert where he danced to the "Hot Chocolate" song from the movie Polar Express.I didn't think to take a video of the performance until it was already started. Matt is on the far left, but out of frame for a bit.
