Chillin' in Colorado

Right now we (our family of 5) are in Ft. Collins, Colorado, packing up Jeremy's apartment. He will be studying abroad in New Zealand from February to June. While he has been taking finals (so far a total of 4), Nicholas, his parents, and I have been packing up the bachelor pad. Fortunately, the weather is warmer than it was last week, and there has been no snow, which is nice for moving into the U-Haul.
Yesterday, we took a break from chaos to celebrate Jeremy's 23rd birthday (after he took 2 finals)! It has been nice to all be here together, and this was my first time in Ft. Collins. It's seems pretty white right now. As the family weather knowers informed us, as of December 7th, Ft. Collins has had 44 inches of snow for the season!
Thanks to friends in Rhode Island, Nicholas is an expert at creating a pulley system for moving furniture, so that is just what he has done (since Jeremy lives on the 3rd floor). He has also created an "elevator" out of a larger box that he is using to lower smaller boxes!
Lots and lots of pictures will follow this weekend when Nicholas, BJ, and I fly back to Austin. Julie and Jeremy will be driving his car back to TX.
