Decorating is the theme...On Wednesday, we helped Nicholas' parents decorate their Christmas tree. It is a tradition that Nicholas' dad and the sons cut a little stump off the tree. (I am told that someone has saved all these stumps from years past.)
Everyone pitched in a hand to get the tree straight in the stand and in the house.
I put together strands of lights while BJ relaxed after hauling the tree.
Nicholas built a fire and warmed up some eggnog for us all to enjoy.
Julie and Nicholas worked on the lights (one of my least favorite jobs!).
