Here are some pictures of our living room, at least what it looked like last week. We are in the process of painting. We were hoping that if we primed the walls, we could scrap by with only applying one coat of the pretty paint. Much to our chagrin, that is not the case! In the end we will have slathered on 1.5 gallons of primer paint and 4 gallons of Venetian Stucco, but it will all be worth it in the end! The walls in these pictures are a greenish grey...very boring! Here is the view of our living room as seen from the dining room.
More living room from dining room with an angle to the front door. The angled wall is the stairwell.
Kitchen/dining room to the left, stairs up to the right, and the backyard behind me (see the reflection through the TV). The shelves the TV is sitting on will not be staying, no matter how "professionally" installed they are. We will eventually hang a bigger TV on the wall.
The front door! The shutters on the outside of the house are the same color as the door. The stairs are to the left, and the 1/2 bath is the doorway to the left.
View of the dining room from the living room. You can barely see the doorknob for the back door where the green and grey walls meet in the picture.View of the living room wall of windows from the front door.
View of the living room from halfway up the stairs. There is a nice tall ceiling which is such a joy to try to paint!
View of the ugly fan we will be replacing.
