Flaming Dr Pepper

In college, there was a bar in Austin that served a drink called a Flaming Dr. Pepper. It was a "must have" for a 21st birthday celebration (although, ironically not mine!). When my aunts were visiting in July I looked up the recipe because I thought we would have left over beer and it would be fun.

Supposedly, the drink originated in College Station, Texas. Ordinarily I wouldn't advertise anything that came from College Station, but this is an exception.
The recipe is 1/2 glass beer, 3/4 shot of Amaretto, 1/4 shot of 151 proof rum (for the flaming). We tried it. I learned that my college days are fast-ly becoming the distant past. It was an interesting experiment.
