RI Parks Tour--Lincoln Woods State Park

Lincoln Woods State Park is located in the Blackstone River Valley in the inland part of Rhode Island. It is 627 acres and has a freshwater beach. We have spent time there in both the Fall and the Summer.

One of Nicholas' major projects last Fall was the Asthma Vessel series. Nicholas went to Lincoln Woods for a run where he tried to give himself an asthma attack. In the process, he did a series of drawing about his own sensation of breathing. The result of those drawings were the Asthma Vessel pieces (shown above).


Here are some pics of some fresh-water beach time last summer with mini-Nick and mini-Liz.
