Clearing Out

After a very long and tiring Graduation Saturday, we (Nicholas, Dana, Mom J, Bo, Jeremy, Derek, and Bryan) made it to the 9AM service at church. Immediately afterwards, we headed to the Convention Center to disassemble Nicholas' work in the graduate thesis show. Everything had to be taken out by noon. We finished around 11:30 and headed to a much need lunch at one of our favorite spots, Cuban Revolution. We bid farewell to Derek and Bryan and went home to crash.

The days following graduation, Nicholas also had to clean out his studio at school. We ended up renting a 5x10 storage facility to hold all the stuff from his studio since it wouldn't fit in our apartment, especially while we still had a house full of company. Some of the things you will find in that space: large power tools (bandsaw, chop saw), large sheets of glass, lots and lots of wood, packed up glass pieces, various tools and screws, and an array of "art" supplies.

The studio before cleaning out

The studio is progress of being cleaned out.
