We took a road trip to Lubbock in the middle of May to attend and celebrate Derek's graduation from law school. We left Friday afternoon and came back Sunday afternoon. It was a long drive, but the kids did great! We arrived in Lubbock Friday evening and dove into getting the kids settled in a hotel room. Nicholas was able to have some adult time to celebrate Derek at the Friday gathering.
Saturday morning we woke up and tackled breakfast at hotel. Then we headed to the National Ranching Heritage Museum. We walked around and learned some ranching history. It was fun.
We grabbed some lunch and headed back to the hotel to get ready for the graduation. First, we went to the Law School Reception. The boys enjoyed the refreshments and snapping some pictures with Uncle Derek.

After the graduation, we headed to the celebration party at a cute Mexican restaurant. We ate and socialized. Lil' Bro feel asleep while watching a movie in a chair with Big Bro. It was adorable! We got back to our hotel around 11:30.
Sunday morning was Lil' Bro's birthday! We packed up our hotel room and went to a special birthday breakfast at Panera before heading out of town.
We arrived home in time to have a little birthday dinner at Kerby Lane with Grandma and GranBo.
