First Week of Advent

Advent is always a busy time, and life is no different now that we have three boys. First Christmas activities abound! We kicked off the first week of Advent by hunting for our Christmas tree!
We also attended the Chuy's Children Giving to Children parade.
The 1st official Sunday of Advent was also Baby Bro's Baptismal day! It was an amazingly special way to begin the Advent season.
The weekdays were pretty routine. On December 1st, Big Bro's Kindergarten class went on a field trip to see a Holiday play. I also had Bunco Christmas with my Bunco group. On December 2nd, we went to Pizza with Santa at our church supporting Butterfly Boosters and PopUp Birthday.
It was a lovely evening of games, merriment, cookie decorating and ended with a story from Ms. Jeanne.
On December 3rd, we went to a seminar at church by Fr. Albert Hasse. It was lovely, inspiring and a perfect opportunity for reflection on a book study we are currently leading. The boys had a blast playing with their friends while Nicholas and I had some much needed adult learning time. It was a rainy day, so after lunch we drove around and ended up at the Wimberly Glassworks were Daddy showed the boys his former workplace!
Then we enjoyed dinner and a movie where Baby Bro practiced his sitting!
