Santa Fe Road Trip: Day 1-2

Fourth of July week we took a road trip to Santa Fe where we met Grandma, GranBo, Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Audrey. It was the first time for all of us to vacation together in a place other than our home towns (since the boys were born and Audrey joined the family). We started our road trip on Friday morning. We left our house at 4 am. We packed lots of food so we didn't need to stop and buy food. We had a breakfast picnic  and a lunch picnic. We stopped in Clovis, NM for lunch at a city park. The boys enjoyed running around.
We arrived in Santa Fe around 4pm. We were the last to arrive. We met everyone at Railyard Park in downtown Santa Fe. The kids had fun playing on the playground.
Then we headed to check out our house for the week. It was amazing! We had plenty of room for the whole family. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a huge backyard. There was a ping pong table which we didn't end up using as much as I though we would. Baby Bro had a blast exploring the house and the backyard.
We were all so tired, we ordered food in for dinner from an awesome salad place. It was great!
Saturday morning we made some breakfast and did some hawk watching in the backyard.
Then we went to the Santa Fe Farmer's Market at Railyard Park. We had snacks and listened to some music. We had lunch at a pizza place downtown. Then we headed home.
We grilled dinner and Uncle Steve and Aunt Wendy joined us.
It was a lovely evening! After we put the kids to bed, we had some adult s'more making time!
