Palmetto State Park

The first Saturday in October we renewed our Texas State Parks Pass and explored Palmetto State Park. This was our first time visiting this state park, and it was awesome. It was a beautiful day and took about an hour to get to the park. We had a picnic lunch next to the awesome playscape. The boys had a blast playing on the playscape!
Then we packed up and hit the trail. Lil' Bro rode in the hiking backpack with Daddy while Mommy carried Baby Bro.
The trail was beautiful! We found lots of nature, like these beautiful leaves, tall pecan trees, butterflies, swaps and palmettos!
We hiked for about two hours. We stopped back by the playscape for a snack before heading back home.
Checking out the woodpecker holes on the tree.
