Last week we made our first trip to the Trail of Lights as a family of four. We have been once since Big Bro was born. He was almost two, had just started potty training, and it was the first day he wore big boy underwear all day and did not have an accident!
We had dinner at Uncle Billy's Brewhouse, left our car there and walked to the trail. The trail opened at 7pm to the public for free. We got there right at 7pm. It was crowded, but the gates opened right as we got in line.
Big Bro wasn't very excited. I do think he had some fun, but his favorite part was the hot chocolate. Sometimes it is tough to be a 4 year old!
Lil' Bro lasted in the hiking backpack for a little while, but REALLY wanted to get down and run around. That was a little stressful with all the people, but overall we had great time!
