Colorado Road Trip, Part 5: Wedding Day

Friday was Wedding Day! We woke up and enjoyed a relaxing morning in the house. Big Bro enjoyed spending some time with Aunt Audrey. He sat in her lap for awhile not moving while everyone talked on the sun porch.
Big Bro, Casey and Daryl played soccer for awhile. They were playing for the Piston Cup. Then the celebrity guest, Jill, came in a scored a goal right away!
After the relaxing morning, Nancy, Julie, Jill, Audrey, Lil' Bro and I went to the salon where several of the Bridesmaids met us for hair/makeup appointments. I took some fun pictures...and accidentally deleted them. *sigh. Lil' Bro loved the attention of all the girls! After our hair appointments, I took the moms back to the Tapestry House, and Lil' Bro and I went back to the salon.
Meanwhile, Nicholas, Jeremy, BJ, and Big Bro went to run some errands (like pick up Jeremy's tux that he left at his apartment) and grab some lunch with the groomsmen. Nicholas and I met at the Wedding Night hotel to check in the bride and groom and drop of their stuff/car. At this point the day was getting a little stressful, since we were leaving the hotel at 3:00pm. Nicholas was supposed to be dressed in his tux and ready for pictures, and the hotel was 30 minutes away from the Tapestry House.
The remaining getting ready time was a little hairy for me trying to get a nap in for Lil' Bro, get him ready, get myself ready, and wrangle the two boys before the ceremony with Lil' Bro being rather cranky.
We sat on the porch for a little while when the guests were finding their seats. Still cranky. It was pretty clear that my adorable ring bearers were not going to walk down the aisle alone, so I carried Lil' Bro and held Big Bro's hand.
During the ceremony, Big Bro was amazing! I had a lot of activities for him to do, but he just sat and watched/listened. Lil' Bro was another story. He did gymnastics in my lap.
Of course, the boys were all smiles after the ceremony. Though, it is doubtful that they were smiling in the family pictures, despite my attempts to bribe them with cookies.
The Guestbook was a large wooden D. For the seating chart, everyone was supposed to replace their place card with a  Polaroid picture of themselves, so in theory Jeremy and Audrey now have at least one picture of everyone who attended the wedding!
The siblings sat at the head table with Jeremy and Audrey, so everyone could see Lil' Bro's dinner shenanigans.
The DJ announced the Bridal party as they came in, and they did fun little dances.
Mr. and Mrs. Audrey and Jeremy Dertien!
During the reception it started to rain for a short bit, but gave a nice breeze, and a beautiful rainbow!
Finally, we got a chance to get a family photo! Big Bro cooperated, Lil' Bro did not.
Big Bro really wanted to spend time with Aunt Audrey and Uncle Jeremy. I'm pretty sure he would have tried to crawl under her dress if I hadn't pulled him away!
Lil' Bro LOVES to dance. Pretty sure he showed off some new moves at the reception.
Mother Son Dance
Father Daughter Dance.
Halfway through the Father Daughter Dance, the DJ called for all fathers and daughters to join Audrey and Daryl.

First Dance! Halfway through the first dance "I Do Not Love You" the DJ called for the wedding party to join Audrey and Jeremy. Then the wedding party broke out into a choreographer dance to "Uptown Funk." Audrey's Dad, brother and cousin played the trumpet and sax. It was awesome, and a great way to kick off the dancing portion of the reception!
Jeremy dancing with Lil' Bro.
The bouquet and garter toss. Afterwards, Jeremy and Audrey layed a personalized brick in the walkway of the Tapestry House. What a special tradition!
The bride and groom leaving in their town car for their Wedding Suite!
