Last Saturday was quite an adventure for our little family. We started with breakfast at Rudy's with the crew. Lil' D had a great time running around with his friends in 20 degree warmer weather from the snow day before!
Then we went up north to watch a lacrosse game in support of one of Nicholas' high school youth. Fortunately it was close to IKEA so we knocked out some shopping for Lil' D's big boy room. That, of course, took an hour because it is impossible to make it out of IKEA in less than an hour. After lunch and a short nap, we headed to MyGym for C's birthday party. It was a little earlier this year since she is scheduled to become a big sister in the next couple of weeks.
We dropped Lil' D off at his grandparents house following the birthday party to spend the night so Mommy and Daddy could go to my work holiday party.
I picked Lil' D up on the way to church...another busy work day for Daddy and volunteer day for Mommy. Thankfully we had another "ice" day on Tuesday to catch up from the weekend!
