The group arrived at Sky Ranch on Sunday where they spent the night in platform tents at the camp. Monday morning, they split into two groups and started off on their hike. They did a loop hike where they hiked all day and camped at different places. On Wednesday, they peaked at 11,667 feet. Thursday night both groups were able to camp together before departing Sky Ranch on Friday afternoon.
Sky Ranch is a 15 minute walk from Pingree Park where Jeremy was working, so Nicholas got to spend some time with Jeremy on three separate occasions!

Chili Mac night, the meal everyone was looking forward to! After finishing off the first pot the group started making the second pot. As the second pot of cooked noodles were being drained of water, they all dumped on the ground. It was a great team building exercise as the very hungry group sifted dirty noodles and washed them off so they could eat them.
The group left Sky Ranch on Friday for Colorado Springs narrowly escaping an awful storm that would have trapped them in the Poudre Canyon. They arrived home on Sunday (to a little boy who was very happy to see his Daddy after 10 days).
