Colorado Road Trip, Part 2--Keystone to Fort Collins

Monday morning we had breakfast and set out for a shady walk in the mountains, just behind Stacey and Kristin's back patio. Big Bro was not a fan of smiling for pictures!
We hiked along the creek and enjoyed the beautiful view. We hiked for about 1.5 miles to a "beaver lake" where we found the beaver lodge! Big Bro was ecstatic. Lil' Bro was napping.
Once we got to the beaver lake, it started thundering, so we briskly started hiking back to base camp. For awhile, Daddy carried both boys. We made it back just in time!
We grabbed lunch and then headed to Breckenridge for some mountain fun. On the way we stopped at Sapphire Point for some lovely views.
Big Bro enjoyed the crazy chipmunks!
In Breck, we rode the gondola ride (for free). It didn't take us to the top of the mountain, but the boys had a great time! Afterwards, we strolled around town and grabbed a snack.
We headed back to Dillon and met Stacey and Kristin for dinner.
The Dertien boys enjoyed some fun playing with Bentley before bedtime!
Tuesday morning, Nicholas made crepes for breakfast, and we enjoyed some coffee in the mountains before packing up.
Everyone pitched in to pack up all our stuff! Then we headed towards Denver.
Lil' Bro napped, and Big Bro enjoyed his first mountain tunnel!
We had lunch at the Denver Aquarium.
We arrived in Fort Collins in the afternoon and went to dinner with Jeremy, Grandma, GranBo and Laura. Lil' Bro fell asleep on the way back to the hotel, but woke up when we got into the room and proceeded to fight bedtime for two hours!
