Here is part of our beautiful hotel taken from the beach (right before an interesting lesson in how fast the tide can rise). There were two pools each with a swim up bar. From both pools you could see whales in the distance. We even saw whales playing one day while we were having lunch on the terrace.
The decor of our room had a very Mediterranean feel. The beds had amazingly tall headboards. There was a shuttered "window" above the jacuzzi in the bathroom that you could open up so natural light flowed in there.
I took very detailed pictures of our lovely bathroom so Nicholas can recreate it for me later. The shower was completely tiled and the jacuzzi was very relaxing. The hotel robes were super comfy, and our cleaning person put our hotel provided slippers by our bed every night to keep our feet off the cold tile floor.
There were many beautiful terraces all over the hotel. There were no doors to the inside and outside areas of the hotel, so everything was open air. The cross breezes were welcome surprises!
