Part 2 of our Southeast Family Vacation is the 2nd half of our Georgia vacation. We visited Anna Ruby Falls, our third waterfall hike and the best! Anna Ruby Falls is actually two waterfalls where two rivers meet at the bottom of the mountain. It was beautiful and a great full family "short" though inclined walk.
Nicholas and I took the boys hiking on the Appalachian Trail! We only hiked about 3/4 of a mile, but we had a blast hunting for bugs and colorful fungus UPHILL.
We ended that day swimming in the lake at Town County Beach. This was the boys favorite part, and they were very sad that we didn't make it back!
Our last full day, we drove up Bell Mountain to see these beautiful views (and hike more stairs)! Then we visited Hamilton Gardens and walked the trails. Our favorite was the trail along the lake.
We went the night with s'mores around the campfire!
Wednesday we all went our separate ways. Nicholas, the boys and I headed back to Alabama through North Carolina and Tennessee. It was a beautiful drive!
