Thursday was the full day we were in Alabama, so we had to finish EVERYTHING on our list! We started the day at Oak Mountain State Park which borders the Cain property. Stop #1 in the park was a demonstration farm where we found LOTS of goats!
Lil' Bro was dinosaur shy at first.
These kooky kids LOVED the goats!
Stop #2 in the park was the Treetop Trail where we visited some raptor birds that were rescued.
A red tail hawk was nesting!
Stop #3 was the Wildlife Refuge Center.
Stop #4 was the playground!
After lunch we hopped in the golf carts to ride around the land. Big Bro helped Aunt Sharon clear some overgrowth from the trail.
Unfortunately, while we were driving around, Big Bro got attacked by a thorny bush and got 3 thorns stuck in his eyelid! Daddy for the win got them out!
Squeezing every last bit of sunlight out of the day, we stopped by the barn and rode around on the tractor!. Big Bro LOVED raising and lowering the bucket!
Baby Bro even tried to raise the bucket!
Sometimes Mommy and Daddy like to have fun, too!
After the boys were in bed we stayed up way to late for some adult drinks and conversation!
