I treasure our weekends together as a family. I love our Sundays filled with church activites, but I equally love our Saturday adventures. Two Saturdays ago, our little family of three headed out for a hike on the Barton Creek Greenbelt. We parked at the Mopac bridge and hiked to Sculpture Falls. We first embarked on this hike in January. The Greenbelt was dry, but this day, after months of rain, it was rapidly flowing with water. Our quiet, brown hike in January was now filled with the sounds of running water and people jumping in for a swim! And the greenery, how splendid! Need a reminder of our January hike? Check this out.

All the greenery!

Napping on Daddy's back. After our awesome hike, we had lunch with Nicholas' brother, Jeremy. Then Uncle Jeremy played with Lil' D, teaching him new tricks, like how to stick toys down his shirt.
We had dinner with the Schaefer family at Jack Allen's Kitchen.
