Nicholas and I spent the weekend in California visiting my sister, Katie, and her family. It was the first time Nicholas had met my two oldest nephews who graduated from high school and 5th grade. Uncle Nick found a new friend in the youngest, F. My sister, Laurie, who currently lives in The Netherlands was also there.

On Saturday, we all took a trip to San Francisco on the BART train.

It was about an hour train ride into San Francisco.
