Snow in Austin

Snow came to Austin last week. It was 75 degrees on Sunday and snowing on Tuesday. There have been several times this Winter that snow was supposed to come to Austin, but never made it. This time it actually came.

I have lived in the snow now, so I shouldn't need to stare out the window and watch it anymore, but I couldn't help it. There were times that there were huge snowflakes and that the snow was coming down hard! That rarely happens in Central Texas.

This is the most snow that my car has seen since last February.

Of course, by 5 o'clock it was pretty much gone.
