We have spent the past week enjoying Nicholas' parents and little bro, erasing remnants of Nicholas at RISD, and celebrating so many things. I have about 15 more posts to do about graduation and the lobster bake we had afterwards and about our past weekend in New Hampshire with the fam. Instead of talking about those now, I would rather reflect on the summer ahead.
By the end of the summer, we will be in Texas. While we are NOT looking forward to the Texas weather, we are looking forward to being close to family. We are looking forward to being in the same country as my little sister who has orders to be out of the army (and Germany) on September 7th! We are looking forward to meeting and spending time with our niece Bailey. We are looking forward to meeting our other new niece due at the end of August. AND we are looking forward to buying our first home.
In the meantime, we plan to enjoy New England. Thanks to the Sprouts, we have a Rhode Island beach pass so we can enjoy the Ocean State! We plan to spend lots of time with our friends (and surrogate nieces and nephews) and enjoy lots of state parks, hiking and biking. We hope to have a few visitors and take a trip to Delaware, where my mom and grandmother are from. Most of all, we plan to spend lots and lots of time together in the glorious New England weather! Stay tuned for endless stories of our adventures and pretty New England flowers.
