This was the first year in quite some time that Nicholas was not fully engaged with Holy Week and Easter morning activities. We were able to do all our Easter activities as a family. We dyed Easter eggs together. We went to Maundy Thursday service together where Big Bro served communion for the first time ever! Mommy and the boys went to Family Good Friday service. Saturday night Nicholas did not have to pull an all-nighter, so we were all able to wake up together-ish on Easter morning. The boys loved their Easter baskets with new jammies, books, sunglasses and a toy. Daddy made pancakes for breakfast. Then we went to church with Grandma, GranBo, Kellie and the Turmans.
We had lunch at the Turmans house with a pinata, egg hunt, and cascarones!
